Installation
This is your initial appointment, we refer to it as your device installation.
This appointment requires the most time. This is because you will be instructed on how to use the device, complete all required paperwork, pay for the first 60 days of device rental, and then the technician will install your device.
At this appointment you will have your device set out for 60 days. Meaning you shouldn’t have to come back to us for about 60 days after the install.
Nearly all vehicles have no installation fee when going with us.
Calibrations
These are the only regular recurring appointments. They normally take 15 minutes or less.
The appointments are all scheduled in advance at your prior service visit.
During this appointment your device is calibrated, any data is sent to the proper agencies, and then you pay for the next 60 days of rental.
These are required every 60 days by Wisconsin until your mandate is completed.
When going with us we have no calibration service fee at these appointments as our rental rate (see pricing page) includes calibrations.
Removal
This appointment normally takes anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes. Removals are either marked as authorized or unauthorized depending if your mandated period is completed. If you’re authorized for removal then after the removal is completed the ignition interlock device mandate is finished.
During this appointment our device is removed from your vehicle, data is sent to the proper agencies, and the vehicle will now start just like it did before the device was installed.
If it’s an authorized removal, then congrats! You completed your IID mandate in Wisconsin.
