No Middleman

At Integrity Interlock LLC we service you directly with no middleman shops. We have our own locations and technicians. Why does all of this matter?

The big ignition interlock device companies such as LifeSafer®, Intoxalock®, SmartStart®, Low Cost Interlock®, and Nationwide Interlock® use third party shops to perform all device services. They typically will be mechanic shops, vehicle accessory shops, auto sale lots, and could be just about anywhere with a roll up door and an office. This sub contract service approach will usually make their IID more expensive, could hinder communication and could affect customer service.

Up to 50% Less Expensive

Device manufacturers that use sub contracted shop (third party shops/middleman) services are usually more expensive because you're paying two different companies. The IID manufacturer and the servicing shop.

Here is how it will typically work when going with companies that use third party shops:

  1. You pay a monthly device lease to the manufacturer (usually $100 to $115 per month)

  2. You pay the third party shop to install the device on your vehicle (usually $100 to $900)

  3. Every 60 days as required by Wisconsin the third party shop will perform calibration services on the device ($25 to $50 per visit)

  4. If a violation reset is triggered you pay the third party shop to perform that service

  5. Upon being done with your mandate you pay the third party shop to remove your device

Some other charges may not be listed but those stated above are the primary ones.

At Integrity Interlock, with our direct service approach the savings can be up to 50%. We have our own shops and technicians that service you directly. You only pay and get serviced by us.

Better Communication

There’s other benefits too when you don’t have a third party shop involved. One of them being better communication. The third party interlock companies previously stated don’t get to see you face to face. When you reach out to them they’re typically in a call center from another state.

So in summary you have an interlock device installed on your vehicle that controls whether or not you can drive. The company who largely is in charge of that device reside in another state, and then use third party shops to help service you. Do you think some communication issues could come up?

At Integrity Interlock, when you call us you’re talking to someone who lives right in Wisconsin. We schedule for our own shops & technicians. There’s no need to deal with out of state call centers that might have long wait times.

We Care

While we’re not saying that third party shop providers don’t care about you. We are saying that we at Integrity Interlock, a small Wisconsin based business, most certainly do care about each and every client. We know the situation that got you to need our services can be complicated. We’re not here to judge you and we want you to have success in getting back on the road again without the need of our ignition interlock device.
