When does your ignition interlock device (IID) mandate start in Wisconsin?
For a typical Wisconsin judge mandated ignition interlock device (IID) sentence it will begin upon you having two things at the same time. First, an ignition interlock device installed on all of your vehicle(s). Second, obtaining a valid ignition interlock device restricted drivers license (occupational or normal).
This doesn’t apply if you have an ignition interlock device required from a probation or parole officer.
